The Slag Factory Toyota Differential Stud Eliminator Kit replaces the factory differential studs with grade 10.9 Button Head Socket Bolts. Allowing the 3rd member to hold tight against the differential preventing oil leaks. The main cause of the Toyota differentials oil leaks is the torque under load stresses the factory studs pulling them through the axle housing. Replacing the studs with button head bolts prevents the threads from pulling out of the differential by spreading that load across the axle housing. Instead of drilling and tapping new threads for traditional studs, install the Slag Factory Toyota Differential Stud Eliminator Kit. The Button Head Bolts install from the inside out then the 3rd member and nuts would install as normal.
Kit includes Button Allen head bolts, Washers, and Grade 8 Nylock Nuts.
Each kit is enough to service one differential.
Includes:
10x Bolts
10x Washers
10x Grade 8 Nylock Nuts
Vehicles with factory e-locker are equipped with two studs that are longer than the rest. Slag Factory recommends those studs be replaced with new factory e-locker studs.
Fitment:
8mm kit is for 8″ Toyota drop out third member axles.
